I believe in yoga for all regardless of age or perceived ability.

Yoga can be practiced in a dynamic or restorative way depending on one`s needs at the time and postures can be modified to suit the individual. I have worked with people of all levels of fitness, from players in the Aldershot football team to those with disabilities, including a client with advanced MS. I work in both the class\workshop environment and one on one.

Main Components of Yoga:

Postures- to maintain strength and flexibility.
Breathing- to keep our lungs\heart healthy and to focus the mind.
Meditation\ relaxation- to lower stress and anxiety.
Yoga is not just about working out but the cultivation of awareness in a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Words on a page can only say so much, really you need to come and experience it for yourself with an open mind and spirit of curiosity.
